I am an Acute Care NP- Doctor of Nursing Practice (DNP) and I had so much fun with this show talking to my guest today getting to know all about her businesses!

Dr. Katie Bean is a Physician Associate (PA) and Doctor of Medical Science (DMS) joins me on the show.

She is an entrepreneur, founder and owner of Pre-PA Clinic that helps aspiring PAs get accepted into PA programs. She also has her own podcast called Escape the Clinic which she is going to tell us all about both.

 Her clinical background is in multiple specialty areas, including Dept. of Corrections, ER, Urgent Care, Regenerative medicine, sexual medicine and aesthetics. She is also faculty in the academic world of PAs.

She helps PAs learn to balance their clinical skills and business entrepreneurial skills, creating profitable ideas and businesses to make the break away from clinic settings.

We talk about why she became a PA and different programs, and the AMA stance on PAs and NPs and other healthcare topics! This was a fun show!!
